I went out with my friend Dar this morning to photograph some good ol' Amity landscapes. Well, the clouds weren't quite as dramatic as last week but we did photograph this cool, old, totally run-down house. I tried creating a few versions of the same image... will you please tell me, if you were to buy a photo of a nasty old chair (sure, let's pretend) which would you like best of the following... thanks!
#1 - Full Color, kinda drab
#2 - Altered, Colorized Blue
#3 - Adjusted Black and White
Thank you all!!!

I liked the color one the best, I thought it was very cool from my first look even before I scrolled down to see more. I actually thought that the blueish one could kindof look like a photo negative effect or like when you look at the wrong angle of a laptop screen, which is kinda cool...even though I know that's not what you did or were probably going for.
If you're trying to decide which to put up for stock photo sales, why not all 3?
And I didn't think #1 was drab at all, but if you think so, maybe uping contrast &/or saturation? But I'm sure you've already played with all that because I know you're a master photo-editor :)
Good luck with whatever you're doing with them!

I like the Full color drab. The depth of the dinginess really speaks to me. It gives the chair more life than you'd expect to see from an inanimate object. Honestly, I find it inspiring.

I'm a fan of #2 for some reason. Can't put my finger on it. :)

Like the 1st one, it has a sepia sort of tone to it, along with the green weed. Add an old man with a corncob pipe and beat up straw hat and it would be great for a card or something.
