The Armstrongs
Not the first, and not the last, but we are down the line of a long history of Armstrongs. Our family has a beautiful history as well - one where almost all the Armstrong men know and love the Lord deeply. I (as mother) am truly honored to be part of this family line where my boys will carry on the legacy, Lord willing.
First, there is Mark! Husband and father, Mark loves music, learning, his iPhone and coffee!!
Then there's me, Joellen. I love to write, learn, workout (though I haven't lately due to small kiddos and my own energy crisis) and taking photos. Oh yeah, and a white chocolate mocha is my instant sanity fix!
Asher is our firstborn and our little genius. He doesn't say a lot, but when he does it always shocks us what he has observed :) Born March of 2008 he is growing fast and turning into such a little boy! He loves to be outside, adores his baby brother and is a natural-born helper.
Cole is our littlest (born August of 2009) and is such a sweety. Very laid-back, bright orange hair and the cutest smiler I've ever seen. He's super content to just sit and play and only has cranky moments just before nap-time. He also adores his big brother and has already learned how to put up with things like getting toy baskets placed on his head :)
I cannot wait to watch these boys grow up and hope to stay sane enough to actually enjoy it!
Mark and I are currently involved with starting a "church." It's more like a non-profit but we're going to call it a church and be meeting with friends, brothers and sisters in Christ for sources of encouragement. It is our hope that many people will be blessed by this. It's called The Giving Portal and we aim to have our website up soon and get on the ball with helping meet the needs of others called to do God's work. Check our website and stay connected!
